Interfaith Ministries is a joint civic-ecumenical agency that combines the efforts of local businesses, civic organizations and faith-based organizations to offer aid and compassion to individuals and families of Northern Denton County suffering from emergencies and financial setbacks.  Interfaith is a non-sectarian, non-denominational agency that provides services without regard to race, sex, nationality, or creed.   

Interfaith Ministries has been providing short-term financial assistance to Denton families since 1993. Assistance is coordinated with other agencies and is targeted to promote client self-sufficiency. Last year, more than 1300 families were referred to Interfaith Ministries for emergency assistance.  For more information about our history, click here.

Our Mission

Interfaith Ministries seeks to provide short term emergency assistance to the people of northern Denton County with the goal of helping those people to become self-sufficient.  In addition to providing emergency assistance, Interfaith makes referrals and provides educational classes to assist clients in becoming more self-sufficient.
