IFM Raises Over $8600 During North Texas Giving Day 2015

Interfaith Ministries of Denton, Inc. is proud to announce that we raised$8,690 during North Texas Giving Day last Thursday evening at the Denton Courthouse Square.

North Texas Giving Day is an annual community-wide fundraising event where North Texas non-profit organizations come together to promote giving and create awareness about the services being provided within the community. This event encourages community members in Denton and surrounding areas to donate funds to the many nonprofit organizations that provide crucial services to those in need. Denton-area nonprofits have booths arranged downtown offering ways to donate, information about their services, and family-friendly activities.

Interfaith's booth was manned by staff and board members offering promotional material, information about agency services,  temporary tattoos, stickers, and other fun activities for children. Funds raised at North Texas Giving Day will be used as general funding to assist clients in financial crisis.

Interfaith helps those in a state of financial crisis by assisting with basic needs such as rent, utilities, and prescription costs. These funds are crucial to ensuring that individuals receive the assistance they need to bring themselves out of crisis and into a state of financial stability.

A gigantic Interfaith thank you to our donors, our staff, and our board members! We are overjoyed at this news and the fact that so many showed up to tell people about Interfaith! See photos from the day on our Facebook album.
