We want to take a moment and thank all of those who helped make our annual Apple Tree Project such a huge success. Thanks to your efforts, we helped more than 1,500 children start their school year off on the right foot.
Thank you to Denton ISD for the immense support provided during the entire process. We also thank their various campuses for allowing us to register families at their locations.
Thank you to Calhoun Middle School for allowing us to use the Mounts Gym for our Distribution Day as well as the staff that provided so much support while we prepared.
Thank you to our host sites and all of those who adopted apples to help ensure that children were able to get the clothing they needed.
Thank you to our volunteers who helped sort and stuff backpacks prior to distribution.
Thank you to all of our Distribution Day volunteers, including groups from the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis and DATCU, who worked tirelessly to make sure families got everything they needed in an efficient and effective manner.
Thank you to our major sponsors, including the Denton Benefit League, The Rees-Jones Foundation, CoServ Charitable Foundation, Denton Breakfast Kiwanis, Denton ISD and the City of Denton.
Finally, we thank all of those who have given of their time and means this year and every year to support the Apple Tree Project. Because of your support, our children are able to start off the school year more confident and prepared, which is something that can influence their long-term success in school.
