What if an unexpected event happens, do you have the savings to help cover any unforeseen bills?

Nearly 6 in 10 Americans don’t have enough savings to cover a $500 or $1000 unplanned expense, according to Bankrate.
It’s important to have an emergency fund to help cover any unanticipated expenses to avoid financial damage to your future. One of the ways Interfaith Ministries helps individuals and families is paying any unforeseen bill when an unexpected situation occurs. Because of your help, we are able to help families in a situation that could happen to anyone. THANK YOU!

Texas has the highest uninsured rate in the country and doubles the national average?

Like Carla, we try to help those who are less fortunate by providing the funds to assist with medical needs.

Please take the time to read Carla's story.

You may not have known that we work closely with the City of Denton Police Department to assist those in crisis. This young man's wife was in an automobile accident and was critically injured. One of their two daughters was also in the vehicle and was unhurt, but both child safety seats were rendered unsafe to use again. The police department contacted us, and we were able to purchase new seats for this family. Dad has his hands full, but now has one less thing to worry about while mom recovers.
