Mark your calendars for the 3rd annual Get Up and Give: Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. “Get
Up and Give!” North Texas Giving Day 2011 is a day when approved DonorBridge nonprofits (including Interfaith Ministries
of Denton, Inc.) are eligible to receive matching funds when donations are made online through DonorBridge. DonorBridge is run by Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT), with the support of The Dallas Foundation and the Center
for Nonprofit Management. As of 8/1/2011, over $700,000 in matching funds and prizes have been raised! On September
15th, all credit card donations of $25 or more made online through DonorBridge will be eligible for matching money, making money received on North Texas Giving Day go even farther
in supporting our community.
Donations of $25 and above will receive a match of some percentage. Matching
money is not a straight “dollar for dollar” match. To donate, or for more information go to DonorBridge online!

Funds AvailableFunds are currently available to assist low income Denton
Municipal Utility customers and TXU Electric customers with their electric bills. All applicants will be screened
for eligibility and must provide verification of household income and expenses. For more information, or to schedule an appointment,
